I received my first guitar as a gift from my parents when I was 14. I haven’t played it seriously until I was 18. Anyway, I have been making nonsense stuff and non-musical delayed/distorted parts for the virtual band Robson Sax Garrit & Goodheart.

In 1999 Syd Sax introduced me to Gianluigi Pignataro, a young heavy metal singer aiming to form a cover band. After a few months we formed Adrenaline, then renamed in Anesthesia, covering Metallica songs from Kill’em All to Master Of Puppets albums.
Anesthesia splitted up in 2001, after the decision to start writing own original stuff.

In 2002, Syd Sax called me once again to join a new band, with the bassist Dario Nuzzolo and the guitarist Mauro Naviglio. The band name was Nightfliers. We started covering some songs from Metallica, Megadeth, Ozzy Osbourne and Iron Maiden.
But we never found a singer, and this time I gave up and left the band.

Months after, in the spring of 2004, Dario called me to replace a guitarist for a rehersal with his new project. After that session, I gave my availability to join the band permanently.
Absinthium was born! Gianluigi DiFenza was the other guitarist, and Umberto Dell’Anno was the drummer.
In 2006 I married Rocio in Mexico.
In the years, the band line up changed a few times before finding a good stability and feeling. Our singer, Luca Gargiulo died on the 1st July 2007 for a serious illness after more than a year spent fighting and hoping. Now Absinthium is just me, Dario and Tommaso Ruberti , on the drums from 2005.
Through 2008 and 2009 we have recorded all the songs written in the past years and in the next months the album should be ready.
From December 2006 to February 2008 I have been a member of Savior From Anger .
Then I had to move to Ireland for work reasons.
At the moment I am writing some new material but I don’t have a real band.
